Based on Friedrich Schiller’s stage work of the same name from 1804, the new movie kidnaps into the early 14th century. There Wilhelm Tell (Claes Bang), a hunter and former crusader, transforms into a key figure of resistance to the power -hungry Habsburg King Albrecht (Ben Kingsley).
