Later today, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Education Minister Lotta Edholm will hold a press conference to present news about the Swedish preschool.
TV4 Nyheterna is now learning that the government is setting up an investigation into compulsory language preschool for children who show significant language deficiencies and setting language requirements for preschool teachers.
In addition, a regulation that ensures an appropriate size of the children’s groups must be investigated.
The Tidö parties agreed on the changes already last spring, and now the government’s investigators will therefore present the proposals.
