(Finance) – Lanea subsidiary of the Group Webuildwas awarded a new contract in the United States, acquiring the $299 million project (approximately 276 million euros) for the construction of the “Seminole Expressway/SR 417 Project” in Florida.
The contract, 100% owned by Lane, involves the design and construction of the works to widen a section of the state road Seminole Expressway/SR 417 in Seminole County, Florida. This thoroughfare, an emergency evacuation route and part of Orlando’s Eastern Beltway, will be widened from four to eight lanes over a length that runs for 6 miles (about 10 km), from the Orange County border to the north of SR 434.
The start of work is expected in autumn, with the aim of complete the route in spring 2029.
