A loud explosion at a restaurant woke residents in Landskrona during the night.
– There is heavy damage to the facade and the windows, says Peter Martin, officer on duty at the police.
The alarm about the detonation on Artillerigatan in Landskrona came to the police at 01:25.
– Several people called that they heard a loud bang. When we got to the scene, we saw that something powerful had detonated there, says Peter Martin.
The restaurant, which is located at street level in a residential area, has damage to the facade, entrance door and the large windows facing the street.

Damage across the street
– We have technicians on site and they have been in contact with the National Bomb Protection, says Peter Martin.
The impact was so strong that window panes on the other side of the street broke.
No one was injured in connection with the explosion.
At the moment, the incident is classified as a public hazard devastation.
– Criminal classifications may be added. If someone had passed on the street in connection with the explosion, it could have ended badly, says Peter Martin.
