The windmills proposed by the landowners are approximately 250 – 270 meters high, just as high as the mills of Rijne Energie. The landowners would like it to be smaller, but have deliberately submitted a similar height as in Rijne Energie’s plans. “We are not in favor of these types of very large wind turbines near existing urban areas,” says the landowner involved, who says that the owners are not blind to the wishes of a majority in the municipal council that has spoken out in favor of this height.
