A large number of landowners in the Kromme Rijnstreek are today taking the province to court. They started a business because the province has granted a permit for a fermentation plant in Cothen. A group of farmers there wants to convert cow manure and other biomass into green gas. The estate owners mainly see objections to such an installation.
