Landowners in the Rijnenburg polder are coming up with an alternative wind turbine plan, possibly with more delays

Utrecht will receive 15 tonnes for archaeological research in Rijnenburg

To meet these objections, the landowners, led by BPD (the former Bouwfonds), have offered an alternative plan. That plan also assumes four wind turbines. One of those involved, who wishes to remain anonymous, explains that they will be located in a different location so that they cause much less nuisance. “They will be located south of the A12 but directly below the Strijkviertel industrial estate.”
