Gary Girardi, An Education Superintendent With The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB), is set to become its Education Director May 1.

The Board Announced the Appointment Friday, Following the News in September that Current Director John Howitt Would withdraws at the end of April.
“Gary’s Wealth of Experience, His Commitment to Community, and His Dedication to Creating An Environment where Every Student, Staff Member, and Family Feels Valued Make Him The Ideal Leader for the Lkdsb,” Board Flesheperson Kelley Robertson Said in a stament.
The Board has more than 21,000 Students in More Than 60 Schools in Lambton County and Chatham-Kent.
Robertson Said Girardi’s “Passion for Education and Belief in the Power of Safe and Inclusive Schools Will Continue to Drive The Success of our Board and the Future of Our Students.”
Girardi’s more than 25 Years of Experience With The Board Includes Stires As A Teacher, Vice-Prinst, Principal and Education Superintend, Most Recently Focused On Advancing Student Achievement, Equity, and Community Collaboration While Overseeing Human Resources, Safe Schools and Leadership Development, The BOARD SAID.

Girardi’s parents, who arrived in canada after the second world war, are credited with instilling in him a deep apprail for public education, a release said.
“Public Education is a cornerstone of Canadian Society,” Girardi Said in the release. “Having access to it is something i don’t take for grarant. It’s a right for everybody, and i have dedicated my life to ensuring that. ”
Girardi was main of Sarnia’s Northern Collegiate Institute and vocational School in 2015 when He was named Acting Education Superintend for accommodation and capital Planning.
Girardi Will Focus On Continuing the Organization’s Work “Building A Healthy, Supportive and Inclusive Learning Environment for All,” and He remains Committed to Upholding the Values of Equity, Respect and Accessibility, The Board Said.
“I Believe that Education is the foundation of a strong, thriving society, and I am committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative, and supportive surroundings where every student can sucksued,” he said.
Girardi Feels Honoured by the Appointment, He Said, Adding it is “A Privilege to Serve this Community and Work Alongside Our dedicated Educators, Staff, and Families to Provide Our Studentes with the Best Learning Experiences.”
Howitt Became Education Director in July 2019 After 27 Years with the Greater Essex County District School Board.
