While They’re Learning, “They’re also Watching Us,” Kardas Said. “They’re Watching Us in Terms of How We Are With Each Other, and How We Treat People.”

He Said the Lambton Way is about “Leading with kindness and compassion” as well as “exceeding the expected.”

The Hope is Students Will Graduate and Take that Approach With They Their Begin Their Careers, Kardas Said.

He Said Lambton is working through the Changes to International Education. Some programs that served International Students at the Sarnia Campus Have Been Sushed and the College is expecting to reduce its workforce, he said previously.

“I’m Looking Forward to Working With Governments On What A New Funding Model Might Look Like To Sustain,” Kardas Said.

Even with the Challenges, Lambton Had Its Third Straight Year with an Increase in Domestic Enrolment, He Said. Domestic Students Currently Make Up Just More Than Half of the Total of 4,947 in Sarnia, The College Has Said.

“We ‘starting to see that bounce back on the domestic side” and plans are to work to get the College Back to Having 3,000 Domestic Students in Sarnia, Kardas Said.
