In Sunday night’s NHL game Patrik Laine starred and Jarmo Kekäläinen led by the Columbus Blue Jackers lost to the New Jersey Devils with an ugly score. Columbus fell short with 1–7 goals.

Columbus goalkeeper Elvis Merzlikins allowed several easy-looking goals against New Jersey, but Larsen didn’t set out to set up his Latvian players.
– We were just not good enough in front of him. Elvis didn’t give up, but gave his all, Larsen stated.
Columbus has started the season really slowly. Columbus has won just three of its first ten games this season. Meanwhile, New Jersey, which was part of the NHL’s early season boosters, has six wins in nine games.
Sunday’s game was Columbus’ last before next week’s NHL games against Colorado in Tampere. Columbus will meet Colorado in Tampere Arena on Friday and Saturday.
