Lada, whose move on the electric side has been curious for a long time, seems to have turned to Dacia for its first concrete step in this field.
The crisis, which turned into a war between Russia and Ukraine, also had a significant impact on the automotive world. The chain of events that brought along supply problems in the early stages made European manufacturers operating in the region take radical steps. In this process, where we witnessed the decision of Renault, which carries out important activities in Russia, to leave the management process of AvtoVAZ to the region, the cards were also redistributed for Lada, which is the regional leader in the lists. The Russian manufacturer, which started to produce cars that bring to mind the safety standards of the 90s in order to ensure the continuity of operation in the facilities, will also draw a radical roadmap in the long-awaited electric move. The traces of the first details about the project take us to Dacia.

We see that the brand, which does not have the necessary resources and time to build a new model on a completely different platform, will prefer a transformation in order to take quick action in this area. The model, which is expected to be put into mass production under the name Lada e-Largus, is expected to hit the streets as a result of the revision work to be done on Logan’s infrastructure. Information is on the table that the model, for which no data is shared on the technical side at this stage, can offer limits up to 400 kilometers on the range side. It is also among the prominent expectations that the model, which is planned to start asphalt tests on the prototype version in 2023, will be ready for sale in 2024.
