“Love Duet” described Suzanne Osten as a “boast on an autobiographical basis“. The film takes place in Stockholm in the 1960s and depicts the life of 17-year-old Suzanne Osten, when her mother claims that Ingmar Bergman is Suzanne’s father. The young East is played by Sanna Sundquist, who in the film seeks out director Bergman, played by Simon Norrthon, and together they travel to Italy to meet Italian film director Federico Fellini.
– There has been a misunderstanding when it was written about the film, as if it was a film about Ingmar Bergman. This is a film about Suzanne and her creative journey, says detective writer Camilla Läckberg, who is the film’s executive producer.
The film was planned to be shot in 2025. What now happens with the project is currently unclear.
