For many of the elderly who live in a special accommodation, access to outings is poor. A research that has been started, which largely includes all the residences, shows the shortcomings.
– You don’t have to go for long walks, just getting out and breathing fresh air is enough, says Ulla Grangård, who lives in an accommodation in Gothenburg.
At Ulla’s accommodation, the highlight of the day is getting out for a walk in the fresh air. But unlike schools, there are no national guidelines for the elderly to be allowed out.
