La Tribune Dimanche is a newspaper in the making for several months already », insists Soazig Quéméner, editor-in-chief of La Tribune Sunday. “ This is not a direct response to what happened at Sunday newspaper. On the other hand, what is certain is that the crisis in Sunday newspaper means that there are undoubtedly readers who feel a little lonely. We are a lot of journalists [dans La Tribune dimanche] to have previously worked at JDDthere are people who also come from JDD and who were therefore concerned by what happened this summer », she adds.

La Tribune Sunday which belongs to the businessman and press boss Rodolphe Saadé aims to be centrist and pluralist. The editorial team insists on the independence of the editorial staff. “ We have the guarantees of total independence », assures Soazig Quéméner. “ I was lucky enough to have already worked with Bruno Jeudy [directeur de La Tribune dimanche, NDLR], and I saw him resist the pressures which were multiple, obviously, because it’s always like that in politics. So, I already have complete confidence in the abilities of the deputy editorial director to create a front. And then, we also have guarantees of independence. Our idea is [d’offrir] verified, independent, pluralistic information. A central and nuanced positioning, not an opinion journal and which will be for the readers. »

On one side international, political and environmental information and on the other a culture and lifestyle notebook. La Tribune Sunday has a circulation of 120,000 copies with a strong presence in major French cities.
