(Finance) – “In this evening’s meeting regarding the La Perla dispute we were finally informed of cthat the various procedures have signed a protocol of intent. The possibility emerges today of proceeding with a possible tender to find a new industrial buyer that guarantees production continuity as well as the maintenance of employment levels and all assets”. So did the national and local trade union representatives Filctem Cgil and Uiltec Uil late today at the end of the meeting at MIMIT and which saw the participation of the representatives of the institutions and of the same Minister Urso.
“The credit for this important step forward – they continued – it must be attributed to the workers of La Perla who with their struggle and their determination they supported this battle to prevent the fragmentation of all activities and to give a future to ‘their’ company”.
“Now we believe it is indispensable proceed quickly with the issue of a tender notice that protects all the workers, a true strong point of this company determined by their high level of professionalism”: Filctem and Uiltec concluded.
