The new exhibition at the Quai Branly museum aims to lift the veil on a region little known in the Congo in the artistic field. “The share of the shadows. Sculptures from the south-west of the Congo ”is the title of the exhibition which brings together more than 150 pieces from this region, mostly on loan from the Royal Museum of Central Africa in Tervuren in Belgium. Pieces dated from the middle of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. .
