Many batches of yogurts are the subject of a massive recall in France. The pots, weakened, could contain pieces of glass, indicates the government platform Rappel Conso.

Throughout France, glass yoghurt pots are being recalled. The reason ? They would present a fragility “at their collar“, which may lead to a risk of breakage and therefore ingestion.

    Which yoghurts are affected?

There are many: vanilla, strawberry, lemon, plain, coconut or whole milk yogurts, but they are all packaged in the same way: in small glass jars of 125 grams or 120 grams.

The brands that distribute them are varied: La Laitière, Monoprix, La Laitière Bio, Cora, U, Pâturages and Monoprix.

As for distributors, yogurts are sold almost everywhere in France at: Casino, Vival, Spar, Cora, Leclerc, Intermarché, Monoprix, Auchan, Carrefour, Système U, France frais, Match, Franprix, Leader price, Métro, Schiever , Vibel, Scpf, Jamy…

The complete list of affected batches is detailed here.

Pots should no longer be consumed

If all these yogurts have been recalled it is because they may contain dangerous pieces of glass, causing injuries and perforations.

Due to the risk of injury / adverse effects following the ingestion of this product, as a precaution it is recommended that people who hold products belonging to the batch (s) described above not to consume them.“, specifies the site Recall conso.

If you have recently purchased any of these products, you are therefore asked not to consume them, destroy them or bring them to the store in order to obtain a refund.
