The Spanish series therefore ends at the end of this season 5, which reveals the fate of the robbers, until then stuck in the Bank ofSpain. The fans will have to make themselves a reason: a season 6 is not planned and this fifth round of episodes is indeed the last.
However, that does not mean that we will not find the characters of La Casa de Papel in other projects. After this season 5, a spin-off focused on the character of Berlin will see the light of day in 2023. Pedro Alonso will reprise his role, and this new series should probably tell the story of this fan-beloved character. Note also that a Korean remake of La Casa de Papel is in preparation.
An actor shares his disappointment at the end of his character
Fans can finally check out the last part of La Casa de Papel on Netflix. However, this finale could have been different and brought its share of disappointment for one of the actors. Enrique Arce, who plays Arturo, will appear less in the series finale, as he was able to tell TV-Leisure : “In the tenth episode, Arturo was to have a very important role but in the end, the writers wrote a lot and took things away.
