L1 Ajaccio opens disciplinary proceedings against Algerian international Youcef Belaili

AC Ajaccio announced on Friday April 28 the opening of “disciplinary proceedings” against its attacking midfielder Youcef Belaïli, again absent from training for several days. “AC Ajaccio has noted the absence of its player, Youcef Belaïli, since Tuesday April 25. He did not show up for the resumption of training after the ACA-Brest match. A meeting at the end of which, the player behaved inappropriately towards our supporters, which AC Ajaccio condemns in the strongest terms, ”wrote the Corsican club in a press release. “In view of these wrongful acts, a disciplinary procedure is underway,” added the Corsican club. Arriving in Corsica during the winter transfer window, the talented Belaïli first had a positive impact on ACA’s game, with six goals and three assists. But he had already missed training at the end of March, justifying this absence by a groin injury during the CAN qualifying matches with Algeria. He had made his return to the group and had even been established last Sunday against Brest (0-0).
