L: Several question marks about farm sale

— We have decided to introduce farm sales if it is compatible with Systembolaget’s monopoly. If we fight through the entire mandate and come to the end of the road, where, against all odds, we would see that it is not possible, then we have not broken an election promise.

One also needs to see if Sweden can “back the tape”, if it turns out that farm sales are not compatible with EU law, and assess the incentives for foreign producers to try to bring down the Swedish alcohol monopoly.

“That’s why we now stop and need to listen in even more,” says Olofsgård.

Johan Pehrson, the Liberals’ party leader and minister of labor markets and integration, says in an interview with South Sweden that this farm sale is just an example of proposals in the Tidö agreement that may prove difficult to implement.
