Kylian Mbappes rape investigation ended due to lack of evidence

Preliminary investigation football player Kylian Mbappé the suspicion of rape in Stockholm has ended without the evidence necessary for the investigation, reported by, among others, Aftonbladet citing the prosecutor’s release.

Prosecutor Marina Chirakova made a decision to end the preliminary investigation, because according to him, the evidence does not warrant further investigations.

French soccer player Mbappé was suspected of rape and two counts of sexual harassment, but he was never heard in the case. The events of the investigation take place on October 10, when the football star visited the western neighbor.

Mbappe denied it. He said that he heard about the suspected crime through the media and that the Swedish authorities were not in contact with him.

Prosecutor Chirakova said in her press release that the suspect named in the investigation request was not informed about the matter.
