Kuusamo receives first Finnish championship in club history Swiss

Kuusamo’s Pallo-Karhut celebrates the first Finnish volleyball championship in its history with a final victory of 4–3. LP Kangasala gave strong resistance in the final series of the Championship League, and the championship was only decided in the seventh final.

In the struggle that lasted more than two hours, Kuusamo won 3–1 (27–25, 18–25, 25–21, 25–18). The stand-up game was thrilled by almost 800 spectators at the Kuusamo Sports Center.

The match started really smooth, and Kuusamo grabbed the opening round with 27–25 points. In the second installment, Kangasala was stronger with 25-18 points. The third round progressed evenly, but Kuusamo succeeded in important places at the end of the round and won with 25-21 points.

In the fourth installment, Kuusamo kept his head cold, and Kangasala quickly fell under the nails. The home team took the final round readings 25-18.

In the final round, the Kuusamo crowd stood up and encouraged their team before the point that decided the championship. The championship was decided through the finals brilliant Julie Lengweiler. The last point for the Swiss chopper was 27th in the match.
