Now the Norwegian sprint star admits what she really thinks of the Swedish rival.
The skiing world’s big duel this season has really been between Kristine Stavå’s Ski City and Lynn Svahn. The two sprinters have had a tough fight during the winter about who is the world’s best sprinter.

The Norwegian won the last duel at home in Drammen, but Svahn also secured overall victory in the sprint cup on the same day. During the season, Stavås Skistad has aroused strong feelings among the Swedish competitors through glints and mocking passes in connection with their victories.

While Linn has kept a more humble tone when she has won her races. It is also Svahn who has won the most sprint races this World Cup season and thus deserves the title of Sprint Cup winner.
“We are quite similar”
But despite the Norwegian rival’s cocky gestures, last time Skistad slowed down right at the finish line to tease, she now comes with unexpected words about the Swede. Because there is a great respect and a similarity between the two combatants on the ski slopes.
– It’s fun that she came back. She has had some problems. And it’s fun with Linn, because we’re quite similar. We are both pretty bad losers, so I think it could be fun in the future, she tells SVT and winks with one eye.

The Swedish national ski team has otherwise had a fantastic season in sprints and in the finals there have often been three, four or five Swedes against Stavås Skistad. And it’s something that really suits her and raises her heart rate.
– It means everything, she admits in the interview.

When Linn Svahn hears the words of her Norwegian rival that both are equally bad losers, she laughs.
– I think that everyone who is here is just as bad a loser. It’s just that we show it in different ways. I probably don’t have a very good “poker face” to show it when I lose, she says to the TV channel.
