The biggest gold favorite in the ski World Cup’s initial sprint comes from Norway, says Linn Svahn.
Kristine Stavås Skistad does not oppose.
“She’s probably right,” replies the 26-year-old home run.
Kristine Stavås Skistad Has no problems with the favorite for Thursday’s premiere, the individual sprint, at the ski World Cup in Trondheim.
And the Norwegian home run does not care about the uncertainty about the icy tracks, which created headlines the days before the championship.
– I’m good at all the bow. So it will be good regardless, says Skistad during Wednesday’s press conference at the Norwegian national team hotel in Trondheim.
Skistad is a favorite
Jonna Sundling Has three straight championship gold in sprint. Linn Svahn Won the latest World Cup sprint, in Falun. But if you ask the latter, the biggest gold favorite is a 26-year-old Norwegian.
– I think Kristine is the favorite for the gold. It is her to beat if you want to win here on Thursday, says Svahn.

Kristine Stavås Skistad:
– I think she is right in that.
At Wednesday’s press conference, the Norwegian national team coach was missing Sjur Ole Svarstadwho stays at home with a cold. In his place the legend steps Marit Björgen in until further notice.
Björgen steps in
The multiple Olympic and World Cup gold medalist, unlike Svahn, believes that it is difficult to see any main favorite than Jonna Sundling given history.
– She is one of the best ever. And she has shown that she has been strong last winter. She is probably the biggest favorite and has experience from championships. But we will see how she tackles the pressure that will be on Granåsen, says Bjørgen.
