They have become the worst rivals in the ski tracks.
Kristine Stavås Skistad and Jonna Sundling have had some dusts this winter.
Now the Norwegian recognizes what she really thinks about the Swedish.
Last ski season was very much about the rivalry between Swedish Linn Svahn And Norwegian Kristine Stavås Skistad. Both of them ended up in each other several times when they made up the sprint race.
Sundling’s success
This season has instead Jonna Sundling taken over the role of the big rival to Stavås Skistad. The Swede has had a real success season at the World Cup and leads the overall sprint cup so far.

Sundling has won all freestyle sprints this season and most recently in Swiss Engadin she did not disappoint. She was in a class for herself and just beat Kristine Stavås Skistad on the rally.
– I actually thought I would take her. But I was completely mute, the Norwegian tells SVT.
Skistad’s honest words
Both are expected to go a hefty duel about the sprint gold at the ski World Cup in Trondheim in a month. Now Skistad recognizes what she really likes about rival Sundling.
– She impresses me so much, she is strong and goes almost as fast as the gentlemen. It is so fun and very motivating. I think it will be exciting in the World Cup, ”she tells the Swedish TV channel.
– It’s fun that she is so good, but it would be fun to beat her in the World Cup.

Kristine has so far only competed three times at the World Cup this season and won one of the races and came second. She is now aiming to come in the best possible kind for the World Cup at home.
– I’ll be in shape, so it will be good. It is important to find the shape now, she says in the interview.
