During this year’s ski World Cup in Trondheim is the Norwegian sprint star Kristine Stavås Skistad One of the big poster names. But she failed to live up to expectations in the great gold chance at the individual sprint.

The Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet is very curious about what Kristine Stavås Skistad really likes to be called “cynical, ruthless, mysterious and Sweden haters”. With the heading “She has cheated everyone” they try to find out who the Norwegian really is.
– There is a lot of speculation, but I enjoy that, she says about all the prejudice against her.
The real Kristine
But when the spotlight is extinguished, the Norwegian ski star is a completely different person. If you ask her closest teammates in the Norwegian skiing team, you get a completely different picture of the “Sweden hater”.

Lotta Udnes Weng then regrets her joke about Kristine Stavås Skistad and hopes that she does not take offense.
– My hands actually got a little sweaty after I said it, I regret a little. But I hope she understands that it was a joke, she tells Norwegian media.
– It was a bit naughty to say so, but it was meant as humor.
