Kristine Stavå’s Skistad first words after the giant rage from Sweden – and the well-known taunt: “I’m not like that…”

Kristine Stavå’s Skistad has received harsh criticism from Sweden.
Now the Norwegian breaks the silence with his first words.
– I am not as sensitive as the Swedes, she says to Norwegian Viaplay.

It’s the throwaway kiss that the whole skiing world is talking about. After four consecutive sprint victories of Lynn Svahn so succeeded the Norwegian rival Kristine Stavå’s Ski City beat all Swedish women and win the World Cup sprint in Canmore, Canada.

Skistad’s mockery

Then she managed to provoke bilious fever on the entire Swedish people again. Because right after the finish, the Norwegian sent a scornful kiss to the runner-up Maja Dahlqvist and the third Svahn.

And once again, Stavås has caused enormous anger in Sweden. Even if the Swedish national team skiers seem to take the mockery in stride and not particularly care, there are others who rage.

Swedish anger

Because when Skistad published the kiss picture on Instagram, she received serious criticism and personal attacks from Swedish users. Now the Norwegian instigator breaks the silence with his first words about the angry aftermath.
– I’m pretty sure that they (the Swedes) are very vengeful and not so happy with me now. I think they will do everything to beat me – and set a high speed. Then it’s just a matter of keeping up, says Skistad to Norwegian Viaplay.

Kristine Stavå’s Skistad also had to endure an unexpected mockery from Sweden. When the Swedish TV channel Viaplay compared her to the ghost girl in the horror film “The Ring”. The Norwegian national team coach Stig Rune Kveen did not like it at all and called the feature “disrespectful”.
– I think it is perfectly fine. It’s just a little fear, but I still think it’s very nice. Only positive, says Skistad in the interview.
– I am not as sensitive as the Swedes. I take this well.
