Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) is traveling to Washington next week to meet President Joe Biden. The focus will be on Sweden’s NATO membership, the government writes on its website.
The focus of the meeting will be, among other things, the issue of Swedish NATO membership.
– I am happy that President Biden is inviting to a meeting next week, before the NATO summit in Vilnius the following week, says Ulf Kristersson.
In addition to NATO, Kristersson and Biden will discuss green transition, support for Ukraine and cooperation with China.
– The focus of the visit will be on Sweden’s NATO accession, but also other issues that unite our two countries – the green transition, technology issues,
the support for Ukraine and the transatlantic cooperation on China, says Ulf Kristersson.
