Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson may meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on November 8, according to a Turkish official.
However, Kristersson’s spokesperson has not confirmed the information.
– We are working on it, she says according to AFP.
Kristersson and Erdogan were spoken to by phone during the week.
“I look forward to visiting Ankara soon. My government must fulfill the trilateral memorandum between Turkey, Finland and Sweden for NATO membership,” wrote Kristersson on Twitter after the conversation.
NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg will visit Erdogan in Ankara on November 4, according to the Turkish official.
