Now there must be no “if and but” from Russia about a ceasefire, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) urges Brussels.
The situation in Ukraine is again one of the main subjects when the heads of EU countries hold a summit.
Not least, the leaders try to find out the situation around a possible ceasefire.
– We are back in a situation where the US wants an agreement, Ukraine wants an agreement, but no one knows what Russia wants right now, says Kristersson on the way to the meeting.
– They have to say yes to an agreement, none about and none but. But I am very questioning what Russia is really doing. At best, we get a little more clarity today when we have (Ukraine’s) President Zelenskyj with us on a link, says the prime minister.
