Richard Jomshofs, chairman of the Justice Committee, wrote in a tweet that the prophet Muhammad was a mass murderer, slave trader and robber – something that Kristersson has raised with SD leader Åkesson.
– I take no responsibility for what others say. There are a lot of people saying stupid things right now and that can create pure danger, says Kristersson.
He adds that in Sweden we have the right to criticize a religion and that it is legitimate to criticize Islam.
– And it will remain that way. But I am critical of people who take advantage of a situation and spread hatred that is dangerous for Sweden. You have to think through – is this good or dangerous for Sweden? Everything that is legal is not appropriate, says Kristersson.
