Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) on Thursday invites the Riksdag’s party leader for a position update after the school shooting in Örebro.
“Tuesday, February 4, will forever mark a dark day in Swedish history. Today, people have woken up to an incredible sadness and pain. For the people who have lost a loved one, life will never be the same again, ”he says in a press release.
“We are a country in mourning and we must all be gathered – as a nation, as fellow human beings and as leaders of the parties in Parliament. Together we have to help the injured and the relatives to carry the grief and weight of this day. That is why it is important for me to invite the Riksdag’s party leader to the meeting tomorrow, ”says Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
A national silent minute will be held later, according to the government.
