Last out of all Riksdag parties, the Moderates presented their election manifesto on Monday. There are no new promises, but a consolidated document with 250 points that focuses on the economy, crime, energy and national security issues. Despite the party’s core issues dominating the election campaign, the party has not taken off in opinion polls.

Several polls show that the party is no longer the largest opposition party, but has been overtaken by the Sweden Democrats. But Ulf Kristersson is not worried.

– The only measurement that counts is on election day, September 11, he says.
