Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has summoned the National Police Chief and the Commander-in-Chief (ÖB) to discuss whether or how the Armed Forces can help in the work against the criminal gangs. The meeting takes place on Friday.
He said this in a speech to the nation that he gave on Thursday evening.
He mentioned, among other things, several of the cases where people without gang connections have been killed in mistaken shootings, and said that right now it is a “difficult time for Sweden”.
– Sweden has never seen anything like it before, no other country in Europe sees anything like it.
