The development process for Star Wars: KOTOR Remake has entered the first phase of its return to the snake story. You can welcome the new Dead Island 2 and Bloodlines 2.
The allegations come from Bloomberg. Aspyr Media earlier this month Star Wars: KOTOR fired design director Brad Prince and art director Jason Minor. At the same time, this layoff happened just after a demo version of the game was completed to be shown to Lucasfilm and Sony. According to the allegations, Aspyr says that the demo did not meet expectations and the company stopped work on the game to look for new development opportunities.
And that moment happened; Star Wars: KOTOR Remake returns to snake story
Announced for PS5 and PC in September of last year, Star Wars: KOTOR Remake is entering a process that sounds like no stranger. If the allegations are true and the game’s development process has been suspended because it did not meet expectations, we can say that we will receive very interesting news in the coming period. Because the Vampire Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 and Dead Island 2, which passed this way, are still in the so-called development stage.
Bloomberg’s One source suggests that a lot of money was spent on the demo version and the game could now be released as early as 2025. Aspyr, which undertook the development of Star Wars: KOTOR Remake, is a subsidiary of Saber Interactive and Saber has previously appeared in games such as World War Z and SnowRunner. Now, according to some people at Aspyr, Saber could get out of the development process.
“When we bought Aspyr, we knew from the start that they would need our help,” Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, said in May. “We’re totally confident that the game is going to be great, but it’s a huge product and massive products, especially if you’re talking about a game, it takes a lot of effort and time. We basically had to remake this very old game from scratch.”
