Asllani explains
The Swedish national team star then clarifies his criticism of Zlatan and men’s players in general.
– People must understand what I am saying. Men’s players even have such a big position in society. I myself remember when I was little and growing up, Zlatan was already the best then and he is still the best of all time in Sweden. But we listened to everything he said, she says at the press conference.
– If, for example, he said that “this mobile phone is shit”, then we also went around saying that. If someone in that position says that women’s football is shit, then young boys in society listen to it.

– What I want to get across, and what I said, is that they must make use of their platform. They are in a great position to influence the next generation. And it is incredibly important that they understand that. I think that you should embrace that responsibility to make changes in society. It is mainly the pass I want to send. Their words carry weight for the next generation, says the 33-year-old at the press conference.
