Salwan Najem, who previously burned the Koran in Stockholm, has now received permission for another protest. The protest is to be carried out on August 14 at Mynttorget in Stockholm.
Salwan Najem carried out Koran burning demonstrations earlier this summer, along with Salwan Momika. The protests led to strong reactions from the Muslim world, and were condemned, among others, by the Foreign Ministry.
In early August, Salwan Momika withdrew applications for three more protests. Now Salwan Najem has applied for, and received permission for, a new action.
