An Iraqi man who burned several Korans in Sweden Salwan Momika will be deported, the Swedish Immigration Service told TV4 news on Thursday.
According to the agency, Momika will be granted a temporary residence permit until the middle of April next year due to obstacles in the execution of the deportation. The obstacle to implementation is the communication manager of the Finnish Immigration Service Jesper Tengroth including the fact that Momika is at risk of being tortured and inhumanely treated if she returns to her home country.
According to Tengroth, Momika will be deported because she gave incorrect information about the grounds for her need for protection in her previous residence permit application.
– I am not going to comment on why or how the information was incorrect, because it is confidential, Tengroth said for TV4.
In addition to deportation, Momika has been banned from returning to Sweden for five years.

Momika told the Swedish news agency TT that she is not going to leave the country.
– I plan to live and die in Sweden. The decision of the Finnish Immigration Service puts my life at risk. I plan to appeal the decision. I suspect that there has been political pressure on the Immigration Office, Momika told TT.
– They want me to leave the country when my residence permit expires in April. They told me to find a country that can accept me, otherwise it will be Iraq.
Momika believes that the Finnish Immigration Service has no grounds for deporting her.
– The fact that I gave incorrect information is not true. I don’t understand how they can do this. I have openly stood behind Israel and burned the Iraqi flag. I will die if I am sent back to Iraq, Momika told TV4.
