Konami announced that they have established a multi-year partnership with the world-famous Italian club Inter Milan for the eFootball series.
Although Konami’s football game received great criticism after its name was changed to eFootball, it continues on its way with new agreements. Announcing a collaboration with Bayern Munich, Konami announced that they have signed a long-term partnership agreement with Inter Milan, one of the oldest clubs in the Italian league. The company had previously announced its cooperation with Italian teams such as AC Milan, Atalanta and Napoli. The details of this long-term cooperation and the official statement are as follows;

While KONAMI announced that they signed a long-term agreement with Inter Milan, one of Italy’s legendary football clubs, it was stated that this partnership will include many different commercial, visual and activation rights.
Global Video Game Partnership as part of the Partnership; Training Kit Back Partnership (which will include the eFootball™ logo); and Infrastructure Development Center Partnership – including naming the facility as “KONAMI Youth Development Centre”.
Also, starting from version 2.0.0, the club feature of the eFootball™ series will be in the game. In addition, original kits, a new logo training kit and the famous San Siro stadium will be added. The partnership also includes Inter Milan appearing only in eFootball™ and not in any other video games from July 2024.
Alongside a number of brand and commercial rights, Inter Milan will be featured in KONAMI’s esports tournaments and activations, including the eFootball™ Championship Pro, which concluded last weekend.
