Unlike other big budget video game adaptations, this will be something much more intimate and grounded. Our goal is to redefine what a video game adaptation could be when you have creative and artistic freedom. This film will be an authentic Hideo Kojima production.
Something to reassure fans of the game who are connected to this idea of a world destroyed by a cataclysm, forcing human beings to live underground so as not to be swept away by these mystical creatures. Carrying the disconnected remnants of humanity’s future in his hands, players take on the role of Reedus’ Sam Bridges as he embarks on a mission to bring hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a decimated America. At present, it is not known if Kojima will take over the actors who participated in the video game, the cast being all the same composed of Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Guillermo del Toro and Margaret Qualley. Knowing Kojima, it wouldn’t be impossible…
