After the game stated that they started working on MoCap, the eyes were turned to Kojima, but the statement we expected did not come. Instead, Kojima shared an image that also refers to the Walking Dead series.

Norman Reedus told the story of meeting Kojima in the interview he attended and caused the following leak about Death Stranding 2;
“Then I was in San Diego and Hideo came with a large group of people, he’s from Tokyo, and he showed me what he was working on for a play called Silent Hills. I was very impressed with what he showed me, and I said, ‘Yeah, let’s do this.’ This is Pacman. It’s not; it’s very realistic, it’s very futuristic, it’s very intricate and beautiful, and I’m totally fascinated with what’s being done.
It took me maybe two or three years to finish all the MoCap sessions and everything (speaking for Death Stranding). It takes a lot of work. And then the game came out and it won all the awards, and that was a huge thing, so we just started the second part of it.”
