Van Zuijlen talks about his first meeting with the animals in August 2020. It was 04:00 in the morning and he had just left Kockengen for Haarzuilens. “And suddenly, in front of me on the road, I had two otters in front of me,” he says. “They bumped along the road and when they saw me they splashed into the water.”
