DHSC chairman Harry Lulofs said about Bal’s incident that he could not deny that his club’s player had dealt a blow. “But a lot of things precede that”, Lulofs refers to the hit Bal would have received before he hit himself. “But that does not give him the right, that is not allowed,” said the chairman, who is particularly surprised that it happened to Emre Bal. “Emre is known as a very neat, correct player. He has never had a red card. That boy is even trained to control himself in situations.”
