At last year’s People and Defense conference, Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin (M) said that there could be war in Sweden. Sunday’s statement from Ulf Kristersson “in some sense to take it another step”, according to SVT’s domestic political commentator Mats Knutson.

He also says that the Prime Minister and the Social Democrats’ Magdalena Andersson “by and large” agree on Swedish foreign and defense policy.
