KNMI Continued chance of northern lights in the coming nights

Charged particles from the sun are approaching our atmosphere at high speed. That creates a lot of energy in those charged particles. To get rid of that energy, they emit the energy in the form of light. That is the northern lights that we observe. According to the KNMI, solar activity is high until March 1, so the auroras can probably be seen until then.
