Knives Out 3 the film with Daniel Craig is coming

Detective Benoît Blanc will soon be back on Netflix to solve a new investigation carried out by Rian Johnson. The first names of the casting are starting to fall (and it makes you want to).

A new investigation is looming for Benoît Blanc. After solving the murder of novelist Harlan Thrombey (HAS knives drawn) and solved the riddle of the murder party of an eccentric billionaire (Glass Onion), the Kentucky detective will have to use his brains to solve a new mystery. Netflix has announced the release in 2025 of the third part of Rian Johnson’s detective franchise (The Last Jedi, Looper), titled Wake up Dead Man.

A first video came to announce “the most dangerous of investigations” by Benoît Blanc, without the precise scenario having yet been announced. We know, however, that Daniel Craig will indeed be back in the shoes of the eccentric detective. And above all, he will not be the only one. The first names of the cast have been announced, and suffice to say that it’s already tempting.

Among the first names announced to play the role of the former James Bond, include actor Josh O’Connor, revealed in the role of Prince Charles in seasons 3 and 4 of The Crown which is now causing a sensation in Challengers. He will be accompanied by another rising Hollywood star, Cailee Spaeny. If her name may not mean anything to you, know that she won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the 2023 Venice Film Festival for her role in Priscilla, in which she plays the King’s wife. She also starred as a young photojournalist in the war film Civil Warreleased in April.

Last name announced to date, and not the least, Andrew Scott will also be there for this third episode of At loggerheads. The Irish actor distinguished himself in the series Sherlock (he plays Moriarty) or Fleabag (the “hot priest”), but also in Ripley on Netflix. On the cinema side, he was also moving in Without ever knowing us. It’s also a safe bet that well-known names will be announced soon to complete the cast.

Released in 2019, At loggerheads was a surprise hit at the cinema. This Agatha Christie-style detective comedy which did not fail to satirize its time and its characters, with a cast of very well-known actors. It was even nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Its sequel, Glass Onionwas released three years later and this time offered a real opposite of the classic “whodunnit”.
