The cut on the Catharijnesingel does not apply to cyclists and pedestrians. But there are more exceptions: emergency services, logistics transport such as trucks and vans, coaches, public transport, taxis and municipal cars are allowed to continue driving there. In addition, residents of the apartments above Hoog Catharijne, home care employees, general practitioners and midwives can apply for an exemption.
