Klarna: 80 percent have an outstanding invoice

– Our challenge is that Klarna has become so big in Sweden that approximately 80 percent of the Swedish population has an outstanding invoice with us all the time, says Sebastian Siemiatkowski in the Economic Agency.

Now Klarna’s CEO says he wants to see a change in the loan market to make it better for consumers.

– But the question is what kind of legislation will ensure that we actually get this sorted out? When we started our business, we just did like all other actors. When we started looking at this ourselves, we realized that we had to rearrange and change.
