Ahead of the 2024 season of “Idol”, several changes have been made. The program that previously aired on Fridays has now moved to Saturdays in the tableau, and the audition programs are no longer shown on weekdays.
– In recent years, we have seen that the large number of episodes we have had early in the season has made it a little more difficult to find your way into “Idol”. Now we believe that by making a big weekend entertainment, the whole audience should have the opportunity to get in properly right from the start, says TV4’s channel and content director Fredrik Arefalk said according to TT.

When News24 met Kishti Tomita at the Kristallengala in September 2024, shortly after this year’s “Idol” premiere, the former juror told us that she will not actually watch the show.
Is there anyone in particular you’re looking forward to partying with at the after party here tonight?
– I will probably hang out a bit with Katia.
Is she funny at a party?
– Fun is just the first word. Funny is just like her middle name.
There are many who miss you “Idol”. What do you think of the new constellation of the jury?
– I have no idea, I haven’t seen the program. I don’t watch the show, and won’t watch the show. I only watch “Idol” if I’m watching with colleagues. I like to make shows, but I don’t watch.
