The first trailer for the movie “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” directed by Wes Ball has been released.
Continuing where the Caesar fantasy Rise of the Planet of the Apes trilogy left off Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes trailer Published by 20th Century Studios.

Wes Ball, the talented VFX director of the Ruin and Maze Runner series, directs this film. Years after the events of War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), many ape clans have emerged in the oasis where Caesar leads his ape friends, and humans have regressed to a savage state. While another ape goes on a quest to find freedom with a human girl, another ape leader suppresses Caesar’s teachings in order to enslave other clans in search of the last remnants of a secret human technology.
Owen Teague as Cornelius, Caesar’s chimpanzee son. Also in the cast are Ras-Samuel Weld A’abzgi, William H. Macy, Dichen Lachman, Freya Allan, Peter Macon, Eka Darville, Kevin Durand, Travis Jeffery, Neil Sandilands, Sara Wiseman and Lydia Peckham.
The global epic sci-fi series, set several generations after Caesar’s reign, where apes are the dominant species living in harmony and humans are condemned to live in the shadows, is being revived by director Wes Ball. A young ape embarks on a terrifying journey that will cause him to doubt everything he knows about the past and make decisions that will shape the future for both apes and humans as a new, despotic ape leader builds his empire.
American filmmaker and visual effects artist Wes Ball is the director of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. He previously directed the Maze Runner film trilogy. The screenplay was written by Josh Friedman, Patrick Aison and Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver (writers of the previous Apes trilogy). Produced by Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, Jason Reed and Joe Hartwick Jr. took over. The movie will be released on May 24, 2024.
